Flute Classes & Quality Flutes For Sell

You can find our shop and classroom on the first floor of Aditya Nakoda Enclave at J-11, right on Sinhagad Road. It’s directly across from the Big Bazar, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside. Inside, though, it’s usually filled with the sound of bamboo flutes. We spend our days either teaching students how to play or working on the flutes themselves. We have a lot of different sizes of flutes hanging on the walls and stored in bins. Each one is made of bamboo, so they all have their own little knots and marks. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's more of a workshop feel with some floor mats where students sit to practice. Sometimes the notes are a bit screechy when someone is just starting out, but that is part of learning. We also sell the flutes we make or source, checking each one to make sure the holes are right and the sound is clear. It’s a bit of a niche business, but people who love Indian classical music find their way to us. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow and the building gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We keep a couple of fans going to stay cool while we play and teach. It’s a simple life focused on music and making sure people have a good instrument to take home to practice regularly.
