Fischer Chess Academy

We are located at D1 209 in Vardhaman Township. If you know Sasane Nagar, we are right near the railway gate. It is a bit noisy sometimes because of the trains passing by but we have gotten used to it. Fischer Chess Academy is just a small space where we set up the boards. The pieces are often mixed up and we spend a lot of time putting them back in the right boxes. We are in Hadapsar which is always moving. Inside the room it is usually quiet except for the sound of clocks ticking or someone moving a wooden piece. We have some old chairs that squeak a bit. It is not some high-end sports club. It is just a place in the township where people come to sit and think. Sometimes the gate stays closed for a long time when a train is coming and people get stuck waiting. We just wait it out. The walls have a few pictures but nothing fancy. We have been in Sasane Nagar for a bit now and it feels like home. We do not really have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and see the tables. It is a practical setup for what we do. Nothing more and nothing less. We just keep the doors open and let the day go by.
