Finance And Insurance

Our place, Finance And Insurance, is over at Paud Road in Kothrud. We are in Building Number 13, in Flat Number 12 of Indira Shankarnagari. Finding the building can be a little tricky the first time because there are so many blocks in this complex, but once you get here, it’s pretty quiet. The apartment we use as an office has a decent view of the neighborhood. We have some cabinets filled with papers and a couple of old computers that we use for everything. It’s a small space, so we all know what everyone else is doing most of the time. Kothrud is a nice part of Pune to work in because it feels more like a residential area than a cold business district. There is a small balcony where some of us stand when the weather is nice just to get some fresh air. We don't have fancy signs or big posters on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes stuck up with tape. Usually, the phone rings a lot, and someone is always looking for a specific folder that got moved. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the big wooden table we use for meetings. It’s a simple setup in Maharashtra, right here in India, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. There’s usually someone drinking tea and the light in the hallway flickers occasionally. We don’t mind. It is just a normal office.
