Farmcell Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at C/O Shri Baban Durga Takalkar on Jambutroad. We are in Pimparkhed, which is under the Shirur taluka in Pune. It is a bit of a drive to get here, but it’s right in the heart of where the work happens. We started this company because we wanted to have more control over how our produce is handled. It’s not a big, shiny operation. It is just a group of us who know the land around Pune. Our office is practical and a bit crowded sometimes. We deal with whatever the day throws at us. Sometimes it’s a problem with the harvest and other times it’s just sorting out the accounts. We don't use fancy language because we don't need to. Everyone here knows what the job is. We spend a lot of time talking to the local guys about their fields. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one step at a time. The weather can be a real pain sometimes, but we just adapt. We aren't looking to be famous or huge. We just want to make sure the work we put into the soil pays off for our families. It is a very direct way of living. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task. The road can be a bit bumpy getting here but the trucks manage it alright most of the time.
