Farm Educon Private Limited

Farm Educon is based out in Boripardhi, which is in the Daund area. We’ve been here for a bit now, focusing on the intersection of farming and learning. Most of the folks around here are tied to the land in one way or another. We aren't a big fancy school or anything like that. We just work from our spot in the village to help people understand the better ways of doing things on the farm. Sometimes that means talking about new techniques or just showing how to use a certain piece of equipment properly. Daund is a place where you have to be practical. If something doesn't work in the field, it’s no use to anyone. We spend a lot of our time outdoors or in small groups just chatting with the local farmers. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we take the work seriously. You might find some papers scattered around or a muddy pair of boots by the door because that's just how it is when you work in Boripardhi. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated theories. It’s more about what works for the person actually holding the plow in the soil. We started this because we saw a gap between what people were being told and what they actually needed to know. It’s just us trying to share what we’ve learned over the years and hopefully making things a bit easier for the next generation of farmers around here. It is honest work.
