Excel Film Academy (Opc) Private Limited

Excel Film Academy is run out of a spot in Shivajinagar, specifically at Oldwadarwadi. It is a bit of a tucked-away place inside the Wadar Housing Society. We aren't one of those big, shiny film studios you see in the movies. It is more of a home-grown setup. Sharda Venkatesh Chougule lets us use the space here, and we have made it our own over time. We spend our time talking about cameras, scripts, and how to actually make a scene look right without spending a fortune. It is definitely not a corporate environment. We have coffee cups sitting around and stacks of old notes on the tables. Most of the people who come by are just regular folks from around Pune who have a dream of working in movies or making their own videos. We try to keep it real. We talk about the hard parts of the industry, not just the glamour stuff. Sometimes the electricity cuts out or the neighbors are a bit loud, but we make it work. It is about the craft more than anything else. We started this because we liked films and wanted a place where others could come and learn the basics. No fancy marketing, just a bunch of people trying to figure out how to tell a story with a lens. It is a small operation, just one person really running the show since it is an OPC, but we have friends and local students dropping by all the time to chat about their projects.
