Eves Beauty Parlour

Our place Eves Beauty Parlour is right here on Tilak Road in Sadashiv Peth. If you know where the White House building is, we are just across from that, and the Tilak Smarak Mandir is right next door too. It is a busy spot in Pune with lots of traffic and people walking by all the time. We opened up here because it seemed like a good central place for folks in the neighborhood to get their hair or skin done without traveling too far. Most days it is just us working through the appointments and talking with the ladies who have been coming to us for years. Some people stop in after they finish at the temple or while they are out doing their shopping on the main road. The room isn't fancy or anything like those big chains you see in the malls. It is just a simple space with chairs and mirrors where we do what needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the street gets too loud with the horns, but that is just how it is living in this part of town. We try to keep things tidy but on a Saturday when it is packed with everyone wanting their eyebrows done at once, it gets a bit messy with hair on the floor. Most of the people who come here are just our neighbors or workers from the nearby offices. We have been in Sadashiv Peth for a while now and we know the faces around here pretty well.
