We are also behind the Fun & Shop Mall, which is a major landmark for anyone living around here. Our shop is small and practical. We don't have any corporate polishing or a team of marketing people. It’s just us running the place day to day. We have the basic equipment for hair and beauty work. The shop has been here long enough that we don't really need to explain much to the locals. They know where we are and what we do. The Mahindra Chambers building is a busy place with a lot of different offices and shops, so there’s always people walking past the window. We keep the place tidy but it’s definitely a working shop, not a showroom. Sometimes the chairs squeak a little and the lighting isn't perfect, but it feels like home to us. We don't have any big slogans or goals. We just wait for the shop next door to open, say hello to the neighbors, and start our day. It’s a simple, honest way to earn a living in Pune, and we appreciate the people who keep coming back to see us.
