Emphala The Salon

We are located in Rasta Peth at a building called Sakshi Om Gurudev. It is Shop Number 1 and we are quite close to Sunder Lodge. Rasta Peth is an old part of Pune with narrow streets and lots of local shops. Our salon is right on the ground level. We see a lot of people who have lived in this area for years. The shop has a simple setup with a few chairs and mirrors. We do not have a lot of space for extra stuff so we keep things basic. The walls have some simple paint and we have the usual equipment for cutting and styling hair. It gets quite noisy outside with the bikes and the honking, which is just part of being in this neighborhood. We open up in the morning and sweep the front step. Most of our regulars just walk in without much fuss. We know who likes a short trim and who is trying to grow their hair out. The lighting inside is decent and we try to keep the temperature comfortable. It is a hardworking little shop. We do not spend money on fancy advertisements or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or they were visiting the lodge. We just do the work, chat with the neighbors, and close up when the sun goes down. It is a quiet life here in the shop but we like it that way.
