If you go down to Dhayari, specifically Sr. No. 48/1 at Chavan Industries, you’ll find us. We are ELMECH CORPORATION. We’re right near the Mahadev Mandir, so we hear the bells and the prayers every morning and evening. It’s a nice sound to work to. The industrial area here is always full of trucks and the smell of grease. Our workshop is just one of many, but we’ve made this space our own over the years. The floor is stained with oil and there are metal scraps in the corners, but we know where everything is. It’s not a showroom. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the tin roof pop, but we just keep at it. We have a few machines that have been with us since the start and they still run better than the new ones sometimes. Usually, someone is making tea in the back on a small stove. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever is closest to the door. Most of our neighbors in Chavan Industries are doing similar work, so we often borrow tools from each other if something breaks. It’s a bit of a community here. We work hard, go home tired, and come back the next day to do it all over again.
