We’ve got our office set up in Balagi Nagar, which is right in the Dhankawadi area of Pune. It’s a lively part of town with a lot of students and small shops everywhere. Being in the business of Elixir Hr Solutions Pvt. Ltd, we see a lot of people coming in and out. The office isn't very big, so it can feel a bit crowded on Monday mornings. We have a few desks pushed together and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. There’s a small window that looks out onto the street, but mostly we just see the tops of parked bikes. We spend the day talking to candidates and trying to match them with jobs. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of paperwork that never seems to end. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a few notes stuck to the monitors. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. Sometimes the traffic in Dhankawadi makes it hard for people to find us on time, but we don't mind. We understand how it is. We just try to be helpful and get through the list of things we need to do. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in this part of the city. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know who we are.
