Our office is located at Flat No: A1- 20 in the Shree Shwet Shwetyan Apartment building. It is right in the Sayadri Colony area of Pimple Gurav here in Pune. Being in a residential building means it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff corporate space, which we actually like. We spend most of our time at Elixir doing HR solutions, which basically involves a lot of phone calls and looking through resumes on our screens. The balcony gets some nice sun in the morning, which helps when the coffee hasn't kicked in yet. Pimple Gurav has changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings coming up, but our colony stays fairly quiet during the work day. Sometimes it is hard for visitors to find the right wing if they haven't been here before, so we usually have to tell them to look for the specific gate. Inside, we have set up several desks and filing cabinets to keep things in order. It is a small team working here, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. People just walk in, we offer them a chair, and we get to work on whatever hiring or staff issues are on the list for the day. It is just a practical way to run a business without all the unnecessary stuff you find in big office parks.
