Elegant Interior

Elegant Interior is based at A2/4 Gururaj Society on the Pune Satara Road in Padmavati. Most people find us by looking for the Vivekanand Statue, which is a major landmark right nearby. Our office is inside the society, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road, which we actually prefer. We have been doing interior work for a while now, mostly for families around Pune who want to fix up their flats. The space we work in is filled with catalogs and paint cards. Sometimes the place smells like wood shavings or glue because we are constantly looking at samples brought in from different sites. We aren't the type of company that has a receptionist in a suit. You’ll usually find one of us on the phone with a carpenter or sketching out a wardrobe design on a piece of scrap paper. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just meet with people, listen to what they want for their homes, and try to make it work within their budget. The days are long and sometimes we're still here late in the evening when the society gets quiet. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized, even when we have four or five different projects going at the same time. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local community and helping neighbors with their homes.
