Elegant Decorators

Down on Bajirao Road in Pimpri, our place is right in the middle of everything. It’s a bit of an old building, A 2, but it serves us well. We’ve got a lot of stuff stored here—paints, brushes, rolls of wallpaper, and various tools. Every morning we have to move some of the bigger items just to make space to walk around. The traffic outside can be quite loud, so we usually have the radio playing to drown it out. Most of the team is out on sites during the day, so the office is often quiet with just one or two people handling the phones and the paperwork. We have a big wooden table where we spread out samples and try to match colors. It’s been stained with paint over the years, but it has character. The stairs leading up to our unit are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy equipment up and down is always a bit of a struggle. We’ve known the other business owners on this block for a long time. We often share news or help each other out with small things. It’s a very local feel here. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just do the work, pack up the ladders at the end of the day, and head home. The walls are covered in old photos and notes from past jobs. It’s a busy, messy, real workspace. We have an old metal kettle that we use for tea every morning and afternoon.
