Electronic System Design

Electronic System Design is located in Shantai Plaza on Kumthekar Road, right in the heart of Sadashiv Peth in Pune. If you know Pune, you know that the Peth areas are very traditional and always bustling with activity. Our office in Shantai Plaza isn't very large, but it’s right where everything is happening. Kumthekar Road is famous for its shops, so there is always a crowd outside, and the sounds of the city come right through our windows. Inside, it’s a bit different; we have our computers and design tools spread out on old wooden tables. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when all of us are in at the same time, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend most of our time looking at schematics and trying to figure out design problems. It’s quiet work in a noisy neighborhood. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine that does anything special—just a kettle in the corner for tea. Sometimes we go out to the local spots for a quick snack when the work gets a bit too much. The building itself is older, and the elevator can be a bit temperamental, so we often just take the stairs. We aren't trying to be a big tech firm; we're just a group of people in Pune doing design work as best we can. It’s a decent place to spend the day.
