Our office is in a bit of a unique spot in Shaniwar Peth. We’re located over at the J.S. Elwende Girls Hostel, right near the Harihareshwar Temple. It’s a very traditional part of Pune, and you can hear the temple bells sometimes during the day. We’ve been working out of this space for a bit now, focusing on our projects and staying out of the way. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel office building. It feels more grounded and real. We handle a lot of different tasks, mostly related to education and support. The rooms aren't huge, so we have to be organized, though things do get messy when we're in the middle of a big project. We don't have a bunch of fancy titles or a strict dress code. Most days it’s just us in casual clothes, drinking tea and looking at spreadsheets or planning out schedules. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the main city areas, which is nice when you need to concentrate on difficult work. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy websites. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they know the area well. We just try to do a solid job and keep our heads down. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but the walk through the old lanes is actually quite nice. We’re just a small group of people trying to do something useful here in Shaniwar Peth.
