Ecogreen Landscape Technologies India Pvt Ltd is based out of Baner Gaon on U M Road 1. If you know the Baner area, it has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings and apartments going up everywhere, but we are still tucked away in our spot. We spend most of our time thinking about plants, soil, and how to make outdoor spaces look halfway decent without too much fuss. It’s messy work, honestly. You end up with dirt under your fingernails and boots that are always muddy, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t sit in the office much because the real work happens outside in the sun. Sometimes the weather in Pune doesn't cooperate at all; either it's too hot to be digging holes or the rain is coming down so hard you can't see your hand in front of your face. We just deal with it as it comes. The reason we got into this was because we liked being outdoors more than being stuck inside a cubicle all day. It’s been a long learning process, figuring out which plants survive the harsh summer and which ones just give up no matter what you do. We’ve had our fair share of plants die on us, but you learn from those mistakes. We aren't some fancy design firm with a polished portfolio; we just know what works in the ground around here. Our office on U M Road is where we keep the tools.
