E Crane

If you go out toward Dehu Road, near the railway station, you’ll find us at Gat No. 169. We are right in the middle of the industrial area there. E Crane has been operating out of this spot for a while, and it is pretty much what you would expect for a crane yard. There is a lot of heavy metal around, and the ground is usually a bit uneven from the weight of the machines. Being so close to the railway station means we hear the trains going by all day long, which is something you just get used to after the first week. We spend most of our time out in the yard or checking on the equipment. It gets quite hot under the sun out here, especially in the afternoons. The office is just a small room where we keep the logs and take calls. We don't have a big sign or anything too bright. Most people find us because they know the area or saw our cranes parked near the road. It’s a straightforward operation. We wake up, check the maintenance on the cranes, and see what needs to be moved that day. It isn’t glamorous work, and our clothes usually have a bit of oil or dirt on them by lunch, but it’s a living. We just keep things moving and try to stay out of the way of the station traffic.
