Avs Cranes

We are located out on Mercedes Benz Road at Post Nigoje in Fadke Vasti. It’s a bit of a drive out into Taluka Khed, but it’s where all the big industrial stuff happens. Avs Cranes is basically a yard where we keep the machinery and the trucks. It’s a dusty place because the roads aren't all paved around here and there is a lot of construction going on. Most days are spent checking the hydraulics and making sure the cables on the cranes are still in good shape. It’s heavy work and you have to be careful when you're moving things around. The weather out here can be tough, either too much sun or a lot of mud when it rains. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and take our lunch breaks. You can see the big Mercedes plant from not too far away, which reminds us that it's a busy area for transport. We don't have a lot of visitors out here, mostly just drivers and operators coming to pick up a crane or drop one off. It is a quiet life in some ways, but there is always something that needs to be greased or an engine that won't start in the morning. We just keep the machines ready for whenever they are needed for a job nearby. It’s just us and the big yellow machines out in the yard.
