Dr. H.H. Shaikh Clinic

We are located at 27/A- 149, and it’s a pretty modest setup we’ve got here. It’s not a huge place, but it serves the purpose for what we need to do every day. Dr. H.H. Shaikh Clinic is mostly just a couple of rooms where we see patients and keep our records. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time focusing on the people who come in rather than the decor. It’s the kind of place where you’ll see the same faces week after week. We don't have a fancy website or any of those high-tech booking systems, so people usually just walk in or call us on the landline. The desk is often covered in folders and loose papers because we like to keep track of everything manually. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people are waiting, but everyone seems to manage just fine. We have a small bench outside for when it gets full. The lighting is a bit dim in the back room, but it’s enough to see what we’re doing. We don’t try to be anything we’re not, we just provide a basic medical service to anyone who needs it in the neighborhood. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep things moving one patient at a time. The door is almost always open. We sometimes have tea in the afternoon. The neighbors often wave.
