Dr Dange Speciality Clinic

Dr Dange Speciality Clinic is tucked away in the Thergaon area of Pune City. We have been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot since we first opened. It used to be much quieter, but now Pune City has expanded and Thergaon is a very busy place to be. The clinic itself is located in a simple building. We don't have many rooms, just what is necessary for Dr Dange to see his patients. It is a speciality clinic, so people usually come to us for specific problems rather than just a general cold. The waiting room has a few simple chairs and a small table. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, maybe just a calendar and a clock. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. The staff is just a couple of people who handle the files and the phone. We don't have an automated system for booking, so we just write things down in a big diary. Most of our patients are locals from the nearby apartment complexes. They like coming here because it is close and they don't have to deal with the crowds at the bigger hospitals. It’s a quiet, small-scale operation. We just focus on giving each person the time they need without rushing them. There is a small tea stall down the street where we get our morning chai. Sometimes the phone rings and nobody answers because we're busy with a patient.
