Advantage Exports Pvt. Ltd. is located in Office No. 236 at the Akshay Complex on Dole Patil Road. It is a busy street with plenty of offices and cafes, so there is always something going on outside our window. We spend our days dealing with the export business, which basically means a lot of logistics and talking to people in different time zones. Our office is filled with stacks of folders and shipping documents. It is not the most organized-looking place, but we have our own system that works for us. We handle a lot of international trade, which sounds more exciting than it actually is on a daily basis. Most of the time, it is just chasing down containers and making sure the shipping labels are correct. We started this company because we had some experience in the trade and figured we could do it on our own. It is a small team here, just a few of us sitting at our desks and drinking a lot of coffee to stay awake during late-night calls. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us busy on the phone or typing away. We try to keep things simple and honest with everyone we deal with. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes things get delayed at the docks, but we just keep pushing through until the job is done.
