Dnyansagar Mahila Farmer Producercompany Limited

We started this group, Dnyansagar Mahila Farmer Producercompany Limited, right here in Tandulwadi. It is mostly women from the village working together to handle our farming business. House number 131 is where we keep our papers and meet up when there is work to do. Palam is the main town nearby, but our life is in this village. Farming is what we know. It is not easy work, especially during the monsoon or when the heat gets too much in Parbhani. We mostly deal with the crops we grow on our small plots. There are many of us now. Sometimes the rain does not come on time, and that makes things hard for everyone in the area. We try to help each other with seeds or figuring out where to sell the harvest so we get a fair price. It is a simple setup. We do not have a big office or anything like that. Just the house in the village and the fields. People around here know us because we have lived here all our lives. We are just trying to make sure the women farmers in this part of Parbhani have a way to handle their own business without too much trouble from outside. It is a lot of talking and planning under the shade. Some days are just busy with paperwork or moving bags around. We keep going because this is our home and our livelihood. There is always something to do on a farm.
