Disha Placement

I run Disha Placement from 776/A Sadashiv Peth, right in Gali Number 1 of Kripal Nagar. It’s a small office tucked away in a busy part of Pune. I’ve been helping people find jobs for a while now. It’s not a big corporate agency with hundreds of employees. It’s mostly just me sitting at my desk with a phone and a bunch of resumes. I started this because I saw how hard it was for young folks in our neighborhood to find decent work. Our office is a bit cramped, especially when more than two people are waiting, but we make it work. I don't use any fancy software to match people with jobs. I just talk to them, find out what they can do, and then call up the businesses I know. It’s a lot of manual work and sometimes the results aren't what we hoped for. I don't promise anyone a dream job, I just try to find them something that pays the bills. Sadashiv Peth is a traditional area, and most people here know me by face. We don't have a website or a marketing budget. People just hear about us from their friends and show up at our door. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but it doesn't bother us. We just keep our heads down and keep trying to help people get started in their careers.
