Our place is located at Marwadi Chauk in Ner, which is in the Yavatmal district. If you ask for Sunil Laxminarayan, people can usually point you in the right direction. Dharatidhanagro Farmer Producer Company Limited is a local effort through and through. Ner is a busy town, especially around the Chauk where we are. There is always something happening, with people trading goods or just catching up. We do not have a fancy corporate office. It is just a regular space where we do our business and meet with local farmers. Yavatmal is a place where farming is everything, but it is not an easy life. We see the struggles and the successes every day. We are not here to give big speeches or make empty promises. We just work on the practical side of things. Our English is not perfect, and our office might be a bit cluttered with papers and samples, but that is because we are actually working. We talk to people in a way they understand, without any of that marketing fluff you see in big cities. Sometimes the weather is too dry and everyone is worried, and we just sit and talk through it. It is about being there for the community and trying to make the business side of farming a little bit easier for everyone involved. We are just local people trying to make a living and help our neighbors do the same in the Yavatmal district.
