Dhanashri Enterprises

Out here at Chakan Gat No 627-1-2-2, Plot No 16, it feels like we’re right in the middle of everything moving between Pune and Nashik. Dhanashri Enterprises sits near that busy road, and we see trucks going by all day long. The air is often dusty from the construction and the traffic, but we just keep the gates open and get on with it. We deal with a lot of industrial supplies and hardware that people in the factories nearby need. It’s a large space, mostly taken up by inventory and heavy crates that we move around with a trolley. The office part is just a small corner with a computer and a couple of chairs for when someone needs to sign a delivery note. It gets pretty hot during the middle of the day, so we usually have a fan blowing near the desk. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the orders are packed right and the trucks are loaded on time. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where a shipment is or telling someone when their stuff will arrive. When the sun starts to set over the Pune Nashik Road, we finally start winding down and locking the shutters. It’s just how things are out here in Kuruli, nothing fancy, just a group of people doing their jobs.
