Devika Novelties

Devika Novelties is located at Shop No 22 in the Chandan Shopping Centre. This is in Sector 26 of Viman Nagar. It’s a good location because there are always people walking through the centre. We’ve been operating this shop for a while now. We sell things like perfumes, small electronics, and fashion accessories. It’s a small space, so we have to be clever about how we stack things. Sometimes the displays look a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We get a lot of office workers coming in during their lunch break to buy small gifts or things they forgot to pick up. Viman Nagar is a fast-paced area, but we try to keep things relaxed in the shop. I spend a lot of time talking to the other shop owners in the building. We all know each other. It’s a nice community feeling. We don't have any fancy marketing. We just put a sign out front and wait for customers. Sometimes the air conditioning in the centre doesn't work well, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoon. We just keep the door open. My daughter helps me with the social media sometimes, but mostly people just find us by walking past. We try to stock things that are useful or look nice. It’s a steady business and we are happy to be here. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks in the door. We usually close up around eight or nine at night.
