Deshmukh Surveyors

Deshmukh Surveyors is located in the Chaturdham Co Op Housing Society, which is part of Lokmanya Nagar 1. Our office is unit number 5. We are right off L B S Road in the Navi Peth area. Being surveyors means we spend a lot of our time outdoors, lugging around tripods and measuring tools. The office is really just a place where we come back to at the end of the day to write down our findings and clean the mud off our boots. It’s a small team, mostly just me and a couple of assistants who have been with me for years. We know Navi Peth and the surrounding areas very well because we’ve walked over almost every inch of it at some point. Surveying is a lot of waiting for the right light and double-checking numbers so everything is accurate. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one near the gate of the society. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw us working on a nearby plot of land. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We’ve seen Pune grow so much from our perspective, watching old plots turn into big buildings. We just keep doing our measurements and filing our reports. The housing society is a nice quiet place to work when we finally get inside to do the paperwork. It feels like a real community here among the residents.
