Derik Groups P Ltd is based out of Kunnuvilai House. We are located in Arumanai, down in the Kanyakui district. It’s pretty far south, and the vibe here is definitely different from the northern cities. We operate out of a house rather than a big office block. It makes the whole thing feel a lot more personal. We do a bit of everything under the Derik Groups name. It’s a family-run sort of feeling even if we’ve grown a bit. Arumanai is a small place where everyone knows everyone else. We aren't trying to be some corporate giant. We just want to run a solid business that people can rely on. The weather is usually warm and the air is a bit different being so close to the coast. We spend a lot of time just talking to customers and making sure the orders are right. There’s no big marketing team here. It’s just us answering the phones and keeping the books. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we always get it sorted in the end. It’s a practical way to live and work. We’ve been in the Kanyakui district for a long time and don't plan on going anywhere. It’s just home. We do our work and we go home to our families. Simple as that. We don't need any fancy mission statements or corporate buzzwords to tell people who we are. Our name and our place in Arumanai say enough for us.
