Our office is at 8 Giriraj Residency II which is over in the Bijalinagar area of Chinchwad. It’s a residential building so the atmosphere is actually quite calm compared to the main roads in this part of Pune. Deolalikar Consultants Pvt Ltd occupies this space on one of the lower floors. It’s a decent sized room where we’ve set up our workstations in a row. We have a couple of plants near the window but they don't get much sun so they look a bit sad. The commute for most of us isn't too bad since we live in the nearby colonies. We usually keep the windows open to let some air in unless it's too dusty from the street work outside. Working in Chinchwad is convenient because everything we need like stationery or food is just a short walk away. We don't have a fancy lobby or a secretary waiting at the front door. It’s just us working at our desks. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of work to catch up on but mostly we stick to regular hours. The furniture is all mismatched because we bought things as we needed them over the years. It feels more like a home office than some corporate headquarters. We have a small pantry area where we make coffee and keep our lunch boxes during the day. It’s a quiet spot to get work done without too many distractions from the outside world. Most of our day is spent typing and looking at spreadsheets.
