Deepmaya Engineering

Down at Survey No 62 in the Anant Building, you’ll find Deepmaya Engineering. We are located in the Sangamwadi Khadki area, right opposite the Nikam School. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer. Our workshop is where we do all our engineering tasks, and it’s usually full of various projects in different stages of completion. We aren’t a huge operation. It’s just us working with our hands and the machines we’ve gathered over the years. The building is simple and functional, exactly what you’d expect for an engineering outfit. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and fitting things together. Sometimes we lose track of time when a project is being difficult, and we end up staying later than we planned. Being across from the school means we hear the kids playing at recess, which is a nice break from the sound of the grinders. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes, probably with a bit of grease on our hands. We’ve been in Sangamwadi for a while now and we like the rhythm of this neighborhood. It’s a good place to focus on getting the work right. We just take things one job at a time and try to stay busy enough to keep the lights on.
