Our office is Flat No. B 303 at 5th Avenue on Handewadi Road. Deccanfarms Agro Samruddhi Privatelimited operates from this residential area. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because we have a lot of files and equipment in a small space. Handewadi Road is always under construction it seems, so there is always noise and dust. We don't mind it much. We chose this spot because it's easy for people to reach us. We aren't some big faceless company. We are just a few people working on agro projects. Most of our day is spent coordinating between different farms and suppliers. We use simple tools and we don't have any fancy software to manage things. We just use what works. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors while we talk about the market prices. It’s a very informal way of doing business, but it works for us. We don't try to sound like we know everything. Farming is unpredictable, and we just try to manage the samruddhi or prosperity part as best as we can. We have some papers piled up on the dining table which serves as our main desk. It’s not very professional looking, I guess, but we know where everything is. We focus on getting the work done rather than how the office looks. If you need us, just come to Sr No.72. We are usually there unless we are out on the field.
