Day With Tutions

In Shanti Nagar, things can get pretty busy, but we have our little spot for Day With Tutions here in Yerawada. The name basically means what it says. Students spend a good chunk of their day here with us. We are in the 411006 area, which is a place where people are always moving around and doing business. Our room isn't anything special to look at, just some whiteboards and places to sit. We started this because there was a need for a place where kids could just sit and focus without too many distractions. It’s not a quiet library, though. There is usually a lot of talking and questions being asked back and forth. We drink a lot of water and try to keep the fans going because Pune heat can be something else in the afternoons. Most people find us because they live just a few streets away or saw our name on the wall. We don't have a big corporate team, it's just us handling everything from the teaching to cleaning up the floors at night. It feels more like a community center than a formal school. We see the same faces every day and we’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out while talking. It’s just a normal part of life here in Yerawada. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
