Dalal & Shah,Cas

Our office, Dalal & Shah,Cas, is tucked away in Samrat Garden behind the Vaibhav Cinema in Hadapsar. It is a decent spot, A-4/10 to be exact. We have been working as chartered accountants in this part of Pune for some time now. Hadapsar is always crowded and noisy, but our corner behind the cinema is usually a bit calmer. We spend our days looking at books, filing returns, and trying to make sense of all the rules that keep coming out. It is a lot of sitting at desks and typing, but that is the nature of accounting. We are not a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just us here, handling whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the traffic near the cinema makes it hard to get here quickly, but once you are inside, it is just a regular office with plenty of paper. We do not have any big slogans or fancy promises. We just do the work as it comes. Most of the people we see are local shop owners or families from the nearby residential societies. It is a lot of hello and how are you before we get down to the tax stuff. We have grown used to the rhythm of this neighborhood. Being in Pune-411028 feels right for us. We keep our files organized, or at least we try to, and we make sure the deadlines are met. It is just a normal workplace doing normal work for the community.
