Dadashri Farmers Producer Company Limited is located over in Saraswatichandwad. We’re at G.N 370, Plot Number 98. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small group of farmers who decided to team up. The office is in a regular building, and we don't have any big signs out front. Inside, it’s mostly just desks covered in papers and maybe some samples of whatever we’re growing at the time. Chandwad is a good place for farming, but it has its ups and downs like anywhere else. We spend our mornings checking on the crops and our afternoons trying to figure out the logistics of moving everything to the buyers. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around to get anything done on the computer. We don’t have a polished way of doing things. It’s all very hands-on and practical. If a member has a problem, they just walk in and we talk it out over some water or tea. We’re just trying to make sure the farmers in this area can get a decent living from their land. It’s not always pretty, and the hours are long, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep plugging away at it every day.
