Dabka Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is based in Dabka, over in the Dharni area. We use Faruk Khan Tohif Khan Pathan’s place as our main contact point. It’s just how we do things here in the village. We are all local farmers who decided that working together was better than working separately. The Dabka Farmer Producer Company is really just a way for us to help each other out with the crops and the selling. We don't have a big office building or a bunch of staff. It’s just us. Most days, you’ll find us out in the fields around Dharni, but we meet up at the house to talk about the business. It’s practical. We share what we know and whatever equipment we have. Sometimes the rains are good, sometimes they aren’t, but having the company makes the bad years a little easier to handle. We handle things like getting supplies and finding buyers for what we grow. It's a lot of talk and a lot of planning, mostly done over a cup of tea in the evenings. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We’re just a bunch of neighbors from Dabka who wanted to stay organized. If you’re looking for us, just ask for the Pathan house at Dabka. We've been here a long time and plan to stay on this land. It’s just simple farming and looking out for one another in our little corner of the district. That's the whole story.
