D. S. Overseas (India)

D. S. Overseas (India) is on the 3rd floor at 3/303 in the Sarada Center in Erandwane. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is being fussy, but we are used to it by now. The office is a fairly standard space in a busy building. We have windows that look out over the street, which can be quite distracting when the market downstairs is busy. We deal with overseas trading, so a lot of our time is spent on international calls and dealing with a lot of different time zones. It means some of us are in early and some stay late. The office is usually a bit cluttered with paperwork and folders, as there is always something that needs to be filed or signed. We are a small group, and we don't have much in the way of a formal hierarchy. We just work together to make sure the exports and imports are handled correctly. We don't have a fancy lounge for visitors or a high-end coffee machine. We usually just get tea from the local stall downstairs. We don't do a lot of advertising or promotional stuff. Most of our business comes from people we have worked with for years. We aren't looking to be the biggest name in the city, just a reliable one. It’s a steady job in a busy part of Erandwane, and that’s plenty for us. It’s just us here, doing the work.
