Dealing with distribution out here in Chakan means we spend a lot of time around boxes and delivery trucks. Our spot on 2nd Main in Ntr Colony isn’t too hard to find if you know where the 7th Cross is. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot because unloading the crates is heavy work. We’ve got a small team here, just a few of us moving things from the warehouse to the vans. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes the traffic in Chakan makes the deliveries run late, which is always a headache, but we deal with it. The office is just a desk tucked in the corner with a computer that’s a bit slow. We don't spend much time sitting down anyway. Usually, there's a lot of noise from the main road and the constant sound of tape dispensers. We try to keep things moving so the inventory doesn't sit around for too long. If someone calls looking for a specific item, we usually have to walk through the stacks to see if it’s actually there. It’s a simple setup. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving goods from one place to another and trying to keep the paperwork straight. It gets tiring by the end of the week, but that’s just how the business goes for us. There's no secret to it, just keeping track of the boxes.
