D B Engineering

D B Engineering is tucked away on the ground floor over at Nityanand Market, right in the middle of the Bhosari Industrial Estate. If you know this area, you know it is always loud with the sound of machines and trucks moving in and out. Our unit is 3/3 J, and it is usually covered in a bit of metal dust and oil because that is just the nature of the work we do here. We have a few lathes and some basic milling machines that we’ve used for years now. It isn't a high-tech lab with white floors. It is a workshop where things actually get made. Usually, it is just me and two other guys handling the jobs that come in from the bigger factories nearby. Sometimes the drawings we get are a bit messy, so we have to sit down and figure out the dimensions ourselves. We take our tea breaks outside on the pavement when the weather isn't too hot. The market area is always busy, and finding parking for a delivery van can be a real pain some days. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy with the orders to worry about that. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past in the estate. We just keep our heads down and finish the parts.
