Computer Shoppee

At Computer Shoppee in Kothrud we deal with a lot of electronics every single day. We are located in Gaurav Nagar in Phase VII. The shop is filled with monitors and keyboards and half-finished repair jobs. There are wires running along the walls and tucked under the desks. It is usually a bit dusty because of all the fans inside the computer towers pulling in air. People bring in their laptops because they are running slow or the screen is cracked. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and trying to figure out why things aren't working right. The sound of fans whirring is the constant background noise here. We have some shelves where we keep spare parts like hard drives and sticks of RAM. Sometimes a customer comes in and talks for an hour about their problems while we are trying to work. We just listen and keep unscrewing things. It is not a very fancy place and the lighting is a bit harsh from the tube lights. We have a small workbench in the back where the soldering iron is kept. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a backup or install some software. Kothrud is a quiet enough area in this phase but we get enough walk-ins to keep us occupied. We just keep fixing whatever comes through the door and hope the parts arrive on time. It is technical work but it gets our hands dirty just the same.
