Cognizant

You can find us at 8 A2 in Royal Orchard, which is over in the Aundh area. Pune is a pretty nice city to live in, and Aundh is one of those spots that has everything you need without being too loud or crowded. We’ve been here at Cognizant for a while now. The building is decent enough and we have a small space where we get our daily work done. Most of what we do involves sitting at our desks and working through various technical tasks that come our way. It’s not the most exciting thing to talk about, but it keeps us busy. The weather in Pune is usually alright, though it gets a bit damp and grey during the monsoon season. We have a few plants in the office that probably need a bit more care than they actually get. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that, we are just a group of regular people working together. We use simple language and don't really go for all that polished corporate talk you hear from the big firms. If someone asks what we do, we just say we work in tech and leave it at that. Our day usually starts with some tea and a quick look at whatever emails came in overnight. We don't have long meetings or big speeches. We just get on with it. It’s a practical way to run things and it seems to work for us.
