We are over at Marwa Apartment, Unit 1 8, in Anupam Park. It’s right near the Karve Statue in Pune. This location is pretty handy because everyone knows the statue. We’ve been running Cognizant Technology Solutions from this apartment for some time. It’s not your typical corporate office. It’s an apartment that we turned into a workspace. It has a kitchen and a bathroom just like a home. We keep our computers in the main rooms. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The vibe is very local. We hear the sounds of the street and the people living in the other units. It feels like being part of the community. We don't have fancy marketing brochures or a big sales team. It’s just us doing the technical work. Sometimes we sit on the floor if we need to spread out some diagrams or cables. We aren't worried about looking professional in that sense. We just want to get the code right. The 411038 area is busy, so there is always something going on outside. We usually grab some Vada Pav from the corner during our breaks. It’s a simple, hardworking life here. We just stay focused on the tech tasks and keep moving forward. Some days are stressful but we just keep at it.
