Choice Hair Style

I've been running Choice Hair Style here at Shrayeen Complex for quite a while now. Most people know us because we’re right opposite the MSEB office in Rasta Peth, so it’s a pretty easy spot to find if you're coming through Somwar Peth. It’s just a small place, nothing fancy. I remember when we first opened, the street looked a lot different, but the work stays the same. People come in, get a haircut, maybe a shave, and we talk about whatever is going on in Pune that day. It gets busy on the weekends, especially Saturday mornings when everyone wants to look decent for their day off. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait, but we have some old magazines and the fan keeps things cool enough. I try to keep the chairs clean and the scissors sharp. It’s just me and a couple of guys helping out. We aren't doing any of those high-end spa treatments you see in the malls. Just regular hair cutting for the neighborhood folks. Most of our customers have been coming here for years. They bring their kids, then those kids grow up and bring their own kids. It’s nice to see the same faces. If you’re passing by Rasta Peth and need a trim, you can just drop in. We don't really do appointments, you just sit on the bench and wait your turn. The light in the complex isn't the brightest, but we get the job done right.
