Choice Gift Articles is located over in Nigdi, specifically in the Natu Baug area. It is a quiet enough spot but people know where we are. I started this because I wanted a small business close to home. We sell various gift items that people might need for parties or just as a small gesture. It’s a small shop, nothing too flashy. Nigdi is a good place to be, and I enjoy the daily routine of opening up and seeing who comes through the door. Some days are slow, and I spend that time dusting the shelves or checking what we need to get more of. Other days, like during festivals, it gets much busier and we have to move fast. There is no big corporate team here, just a local person running a local shop. I like the independence of it. We have different kinds of things, from small trinkets to bigger items, whatever fits on the shelves. People from around Natu Baug stop in when they realize they forgot a present for someone. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know most of the people who walk by. It is just a regular life running a gift store. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you’re walking around Nigdi and see our sign, that’s us. It’s a straightforward shop for the local community. I am usually there behind the counter most afternoons and evenings.
