Choc Treats

Choc Treats is a small place located at 25 D.R Road. We have been here for a bit, just making different kinds of chocolates and sweets for whoever stops by. The road out front can get a little noisy with the buses, but inside it is mostly just the sound of the equipment. We started out small and stayed that way because it is easier to manage. D.R Road is a busy enough place where you see all sorts of people walking past the window. We spend a lot of time just wrapping things up and making sure the display looks okay. It isn't anything fancy, just a local shop. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most people find us just by walking past or living nearby. The number 25 is right there on the door. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we have to be careful with how we store things. We try to stay on top of it. Some days are slow, especially when it rains hard and nobody wants to be out on D.R Road. But usually, it’s just a steady pace of work. We enjoy being part of the local street scene. It’s a honest living and we just take it one day at a time. We keep the windows clean so people can see what we made that morning. It’s a simple system and it works for us. We aren't trying to become a big chain or anything, just keeping the shop on D.R Road going.
