Check My Profile is based right here in Pune, Maharashtra. We aren't one of those flashy companies you see on billboards along the highway. We’re more of a small-scale operation that started out of a small room with just a couple of laptops. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking and re-checking details for people who want their online profiles to look decent. It’s repetitive work, but we find it interesting to see how people present themselves. Pune is a busy city, and we definitely feel that energy every day when we step out for lunch. Our office is a bit cluttered with papers and old coffee mugs, but that’s just how we function. We don't have a HR department or a marketing team telling us what to say. It’s just us. We’ve had some ups and downs over the years, mostly just trying to keep up with how the internet changes every two weeks. We decided to stay in Pune because it’s where we grew up and we know the streets well. We don't really have a big vision for global dominance. We just want to keep doing what we're doing and maybe get a better air conditioner for the office next summer because it gets really hot in here. Most of the time, we’re just regular people trying to do a honest day’s work without too much fuss.
