Chavanwadi Agro Farmar Producer Company Limited is based in a village called Taradgaon. We’re located at Shri Kisan Sidu Mohite’s place. It’s in the Phaltan Taluka, which is part of Satara district. The weather in Satara can be a bit unpredictable, but we’ve lived here long enough to know what to expect. We don't have a big staff or anything. It's just a few of us handling the agro side of things for the local producers. Most of our furniture is stuff we’ve had for years. There’s a big tree near the entrance where we usually stand around and talk when it’s too hot inside. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just help out with the farming business. People from the surrounding areas come by often to check in. It’s a very local thing. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the address and our name. It's quiet in Taradgaon most of the time, which is how we like it. We spend our hours looking over the crops and talking to the people who grow them. There isn't a lot of mystery to it. We just show up every morning and see what the day has in store for us. It’s just a regular way to make a living in Maharashtra. We're part of the local landscape and that is enough for us.
