Our place is right on Mahatma Gandhi Road in the Camp area, which stays busy from morning until late at night. If you’ve walked down this street, you probably know how much is going on around here. We’ve had our coaching center in this spot for a long time, tucked away among the shops and other buildings. The rooms aren’t huge, but they do the job for the groups that come in for their extra help with schoolwork. We spend most of our time organizing schedules and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next batch of students. It’s a lot of mundane stuff, like fixing a light bulb or moving desks around to fit a few more people. The students come from all over, some walking and some getting dropped off in the middle of all that MG Road traffic. It gets a bit hectic when one class ends and another starts, with everyone trying to move through the doors at once. We don't have any flashy signs or anything inside, just the boards and the usual school stuff you’d expect. On most afternoons, you can hear the muffled sound of a teacher explaining a formula while the city noise continues outside. It’s a simple operation really, just us and the students trying to get through the syllabus before the exams come around. We stay open late most days until the last student leaves and we can finally turn off the lights.
