We are located in Saswad, in the Purandar area, specifically at Flat No 5 in the Dinkar Complex. It is a bit of a climb up to the office, but it’s where we do all our planning for the Chandrabhaga Gulabrao Jagtap Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. Being in Pune district gives us some advantages, but the life of a farmer is still mostly about the weather and the market prices. We are a bunch of locals who decided that we should probably work together instead of competing. It makes sense when you think about how expensive everything is getting these days. We don't have any professional writers to do this for us, so this is just us speaking. We deal with whatever crops are in season around Saswad and try to find the best way to get them to the city. The office isn't very big, and it’s usually full of people coming in to ask about seeds or to settle some accounts. It can get a bit noisy and disorganized, but that is just how we operate. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just look at what needs to be done today and try to do it. It’s about helping each other out and making sure the small farmers don't get left behind in this big economy.
