Chandan Novelties

Our shop, Chandan Novelties, is located at number 17 in Premlok Plaza. We are right next to the Pawar Petrol Pump in the Dhanori area, specifically in Kachinayakanahalli. It’s a convenient spot because when people stop to get petrol, they often see our shop and wander in. Dhanori is a part of town that’s growing really fast, so there’s always construction noise and dust in the air. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because of all the traffic outside. We carry a whole range of items, from basic stationery to decorative things for the home. It’s the kind of place where you might come in looking for a pen and leave with a new wall clock. I don't like to bother people while they are looking around. I just stay behind the counter and let them take their time. The shop isn't perfectly organized, and sometimes I have to hunt around a bit to find exactly what someone is looking for, but I usually know where everything is hidden. I’ve met a lot of interesting neighbors since I opened up here. It’s a lot of work running a place by yourself, and some days are slower than others. I don't have any big plans to expand or anything like that. I just want to keep providing the small things that people in Dhanori need. It’s a decent way to make a living and I enjoy being my own boss.
